Ixworth Church, St Mary the Virgin

You'll find St Mary the Virgin tucked away in Ixworth village, a few miles east of Bury Saint Edmunds. It's one of those proper medieval parish churches that reward a quiet wander - flint and stone work mostly, with a tower that's seen at least seven centuries of Suffolk weather.
