The work itself is bold and colourful, catching you off guard when you walk through. It's free to visit, which helps, and takes about ten minutes to appreciate properly unless you're the type to linger and photograph every angle.

This works well if you're based at one of the nearby caravan sites - Balbirnie Park is only a couple of miles away, and it breaks up an afternoon nicely without requiring any serious effort. Families with younger kids might find it a bit quick for their money, but art-minded visitors and photographers will get something out of the composition and colours. The real appeal is that it's accessible, unexpected, and doesn't demand much of your time or energy.

Glenrothes itself isn't Scotland's most thrilling town, but if you're staying in the area for a few days - perhaps exploring Kingdom Caravan Park or the highly-rated Wild Goose Glamping nearby - this is the sort of thing that fills a gap between bigger attractions. Check opening hours before you go, as public art spaces can be inconsistent, but assuming it's accessible when you visit, it's worth five minutes of your time. Not a reason to visit Fife on its own, but a pleasant surprise if you're already there.
