Horeb, Llwydcoed

The chapel sits alone on a hillside above Llwydcoed, its white-rendered walls bright against the moorland. From Neath it's an easy drive into the valleys, and if you're staying at one of the nearby glamping spots like Four Falls, this works well as a quiet morning outing before heading into busier territory. The building itself isn't always open - locals maintain it, but access isn't guaranteed - so it's worth ringing ahead or checking locally when you arrive. Go for the landscape as much as the chapel itself.
