If you're camping at Valley View (only five miles away), Holy Cross makes a decent morning walk or a quick stop en route to somewhere else. Bring the family if you're teaching them about local history, though under-tens might get bored after twenty minutes. Check opening times before you go - as a working church, hours can be temperamental, and you might catch the vicar doing actual vicaring instead of welcoming visitors.
