Hill of Talnamouth

The walk up Talnamouth is one of those Scottish hill climbs that catches you off guard - steeper than it looks from the car park near Keith, with views that open up proper once you're above the tree line. The summit itself sits at a decent height, giving you sight lines across Aberdeenshire farmland and into the Highlands beyond. If you're staying at Hillside Havens, it's barely six miles away and works as a proper morning's outing before lunch, or an afternoon escape if the weather clears. Pair it with the Deveron Valley walks or head south towards Huntly if you want more structure to your park holiday.
