Hill of Culbirnie

The walk up Hill of Culbirnie isn't particularly demanding, but it's the kind of hill that rewards you without making a fuss about it. Caravan parks within a few miles of Banff - Banff Links and Whitehills are your closest options - make this a sensible warm-up for a broader Aberdeenshire loop. Pair it with a walk round Pennan Head if you're after coastal drama, or save it for a quieter afternoon when the big-name attractions feel too crowded.
