Hill of Cormalet

The walk up Hill of Cormalet isn't long, but it's steep enough to make you earn the views. From Huntly, it's a straightforward trek to this modest peak in the Aberdeenshire highlands, and once you've climbed it, you get proper panoramic stuff - rolling countryside, the distant Grampians, and on a clear day, sightlines that stretch for miles. The actual summit is just a knoll with decent vistas, nothing elaborate. Walkers will appreciate it most.
