You'll find it's become something of a magnet for birdwatchers and anglers. The banks are reedy and undisturbed enough that you might spot herons if you move slowly and keep quiet. The walking around the perimeter is dead easy, flat ground mostly, the sort of circuit that takes thirty minutes without rushing.
