You're looking at a manageable woodland walk with good shade and enough variety that it doesn't feel like you're trudging the same loop twice. The paths are mostly well-maintained, though they get muddy after rain, so waterproofs are worth packing. It's the kind of spot where walkers will actually find something to do for a solid couple of hours, without needing to be an endurance athlete.

Families with kids will get on fine here - there's nothing too strenuous, and children tend to enjoy the forest floor rather more than adults do. Older kids who like exploring will find plenty of little tracks to investigate. It's also decent for photography if you're into that sort of thing, especially on overcast days when the light filters through nicely.
