The woodland here is dense and quiet, the sort of place where the only sound is water and birdsong. Walking takes about an hour for a decent loop, though you can potter about longer if you're patient enough to sit and watch. Kids will manage it without complaint if they're the type who enjoy splashing about in streams and turning over logs.
