Based from the excellent St. Neots Camping and Caravanning Club Site - barely a mile away - you could combine this with walks around the River Great Ouse and a proper look at the town itself. If you're camping at Cambridgeshire Lakes or Grafham Water slightly further out, it's worth the short drive to fit in, especially if the weather's decent and you've got time to kill between activities.

Best visited outside school holidays when it's quieter, and go on a weekday if you can manage it.
