Galley Hill

The highest point in Norfolk sounds grander than it actually is, but that's rather the charm of Galley Hill. At 339 feet above sea level, this isn't going to take your breath away with drama - you're in East Anglia, after all - but the walk itself is pleasant and the views across the rolling countryside towards Attleborough are genuinely worth the effort. The hill itself has a proper history too, with evidence of Iron Age settlement, though there's little to see on the ground now beyond the landscape itself.
