Gagefield Coppice

The ground can be muddy after rain, so proper boots matter. It's free to access and there's no formal visitor centre, which keeps the whole thing refreshingly low-key.

This works well as a morning walk before heading into Bridgnorth town itself, or paired with other green space in the area. Best in autumn when the coppice management becomes visible through the canopy - you see why these woods have been worked for centuries. Don't expect drama. Expect peace.
