You'll find Frugaldom sitting quietly near Newton Stewart, a curious little landmark that's worth a brief stop if you're exploring the Dumfries and Galloway area. It's one of those oddball Scottish attractions that doesn't shout about itself - no big signs, no visitor centre, just something genuinely different from the usual park wanderings.

The monument marks the home of Henry George, a 19th-century American economist who became oddly obsessed with land reform and single tax theory.
