Fox Wynd is a narrow medieval alleyway tucked away in Thirsk, one of those utterly forgotten corners that makes wandering a market town actually worthwhile. The name alone suggests something from a children's fantasy, though the reality is far more grounded: it's simply an old right-of-way that's been there for centuries, a genuine slice of how towns actually worked before everything got widened and straightened.

The alley itself doesn't take long to explore - five minutes maximum - but it's the details that grab you.
