Fife Coastal Path arch

A natural stone arch carved into the cliffs along the Fife Coastal Path is one of those unexpected finds that makes a walk genuinely memorable. You won't find gift shops or visitor centres here - just the raw geology of the Fife coast doing what it's been doing for millennia, framing a view of the North Sea that's properly dramatic when the light hits right.

The arch itself sits within easy reach of Clackmannan, making it a brilliant waypoint if you're based at Highland Gateway Glamping or West Fife Pods. The walk to reach it is straightforward enough without being dull. Depending on which direction you approach from, you're looking at anything from an hour's wander to a full afternoon's coastal ramble. The path itself is well-trodden but can get muddy after rain, so proper boots aren't excessive.

This works best for walkers who actually enjoy the walking part, not just the destination. Kids might find the arch itself cool for five minutes, then want to know when there's food. Fair enough. History buffs get less from this than they would from inland Fife attractions - it's pure geology and seascape, no ruins or plaques.
