Dr Duff's Monument

A modest stone monument stands on the hillside above Pitlochry, marking the final resting place of Dr Duff, a local figure whose legacy remains quietly embedded in Perthshire's landscape. The walk up to it is short but steep - perhaps ten minutes from the road - and the real draw is the view back across the valley rather than the monument itself, which is straightforward Victorian stonework without fanfare or interpretation boards.
