Distillery and Visitor Centre

You get to see the whole process: malting, fermentation, distillation, the lot. The visitor centre walks you through how they do it, and there's usually a dram at the end - which makes the whole experience feel complete rather than like you've just watched a factory tour. Most people allow two to three hours, though you can zip through in 90 minutes if you're not fussed with lingering over the exhibition bits.

Historically minded visitors will eat this up. Whisky nerds absolutely thrive here. Families with teenagers work well too - it's hands-on enough that you're not standing about bored. Younger kids might find it a bit abstract unless they're genuinely curious about how things are made.
