Dinham Weir

The River Teme crashes over Dinham Weir just a short walk from Ludlow town centre, and it's one of those proper riverside spots that locals know about but visitors often miss. You're looking at a working weir - Victorian engineering that still does its job today - with water tumbling over in a way that feels genuinely dramatic depending on rainfall. The surrounding walk is what makes it worth the detour. There's a footpath that runs alongside the river, giving you good views of both the weir and the countryside beyond, and the whole thing takes maybe 20-30 minutes on foot from Ludlow's centre.
