Dawley Park

Dawley Park is a proper working nature reserve just outside Coalbrookdale, and it's the sort of place that rewards a slower pace. Families with older kids who don't need constant entertainment will get something from it; younger ones might find it a touch dull after an hour unless you're really into spotting things. History buffs should come too - this land has seen proper upheaval and watching it heal is its own kind of interesting.

The reserve sits well within reach of Irongorge Camping and Worfe Camping, both just a few miles away, making it an easy morning or afternoon slot during a caravan holiday. Pair it with a wander around Coalbrookdale itself if you want context for what you're seeing. Allow a couple of hours to do the walks without rushing.
