Creag Beithe Bheag

The walk up Creag Beithe Bheag isn't one to rush. This modest Highland peak sits near Grantown-on-Spey, making it a proper gem if you're basing yourself at the caravan park and want to stretch your legs without committing to a full mountain day.

It's a straightforward hill walk rather than a serious summit push - the kind of thing you can knock out in an afternoon. The views from the top open up across the Spey Valley, and on a clear day you get that satisfying sense of being genuinely somewhere when you reach the cairn. The walk itself is well-trodden, mostly moorland and heather underfoot, so nothing treacherous even when wet.
