Corrimony Church

Down a single-track road near Beauly sits Corrimony Church, a modest stone structure that's been standing since the 18th century. It's not the sort of place that'll take your breath away - there's no soaring nave or stained glass - but it's got genuine Highland character and the kind of quiet that makes you understand why people built churches in remote spots like this.

It works well as a detour if you're camped at Cannich Woodland or staying at Loch Ness Glamping - you're looking at a short drive either way. Don't expect facilities or crowds. It's worth a stop if you're exploring the minor roads around Beauly anyway, but it's not a destination in itself.
