The Church of St Mary's sits quietly on the edge of Ipswich, one of those Suffolk landmarks you'd miss entirely if you weren't looking for it. Step inside and you're transported into proper medieval territory - the kind of church where you can feel the weight of centuries pressing down from the vaulted ceiling.

What strikes you first is the light. High windows flood the nave with a soft glow that catches the dust motes and makes the whole space feel almost theatrical.
