Carn a' Bhainne

The walk up Carn a' Bhainne from near Drumnadrochit isn't particularly dramatic, but that's rather the point. This is a proper hill walk without the alpine theatre of the big cairngorms, which means fewer crowds and a genuine sense of accomplishment when you reach the summit.

It's a steady climb through moorland and heather, nothing technical, and you'll take around three hours there and back depending on fitness.
