The brewery does tours and tastings when they're running them, though you'll want to check ahead for times as these aren't daily affairs.

It's ideal if you're already spending time in Cambridge and fancy something a bit different from the colleges and bookshops. Beer enthusiasts will get more out of it than casual drinkers, but anyone keen on local food and drink production should find it worthwhile. The location makes it accessible from the caravan sites clustered around Cambridge - Cherry Hinton is barely a mile away, and the Camping and Caravanning Club site just under three miles, so you could easily pop over as a half-day outing.

Allow a couple of hours if you're doing a tour and tasting. It's not a massive operation, which honestly is part of the appeal - you get to chat with people who actually know what they're doing rather than work through a scripted experience. Bring a car or bike though; it's not really walking distance from central Cambridge.
