Walking into Brockley Wood feels like stepping properly away from things. This patch of ancient woodland sits just east of Diss, and it's the sort of place where you actually notice the quiet - no traffic hum, just birdsong and the occasional crack of a branch underfoot.

It's a working forest, managed for timber, so don't expect manicured paths or visitor centres.
