Brock Meadow

If you're based at one of the nearby parks - Beacon Fell View or Wigwam Holidays at Kidsnape Farm are both excellent and only a few miles away - Brock Meadow makes an easy half-day excursion. Allow a couple of hours depending on how you want to walk it. Go when the weather's decent because the charm is entirely outdoors; rain and mud turn it into a slog.
