Football grounds don't usually make it onto a holiday itinerary, but Bramall Lane isn't your typical stadium. Really, this works best if someone in your group actually cares about football or industrial heritage. Kids under ten might find it dull without a match day energy, but teenagers who follow the sport will be genuinely excited. The museum piece is decent - not world-class, but solid.

Dronfield is near enough for a quick visit between park time and dinner. Allow an hour or so if you're just looking around the exterior and grabbing a photo. Double that if you're doing a proper tour. Prices and opening hours vary depending on match days, so check ahead before you leave the caravan.
