A flat stretch of grassland on the outskirts of Dunfermline, Bo'mains Meadow is the sort of place you'll walk through rather than specifically travel to. That said, it's a proper local escape - nothing fancy, just open ground where the landscape breathes a bit.

It's genuinely useful if you're staying at West Fife Pods nearby and fancy a leg-stretch without driving anywhere. Walkers will appreciate that it connects into the wider path network around Dunfermline, making it decent for rambling types. On a clear day you get decent views across Fife, though it won't stop you in your tracks.

Kids might get a quarter-hour's entertainment here before asking what's next. The appeal is real but understated - no facilities, no drama, just field and sky. There's no charge, obviously.
