Bluebell Woods

Walk through Bluebell Woods in spring and you'll understand why locals keep coming back. It's a proper woodland carpet of blue - thousands of bluebells turning the forest floor into something that actually justifies the Instagram moment. The woods sit within easy reach of Taunton, making them a decent half-day detour if you're based at one of the nearby glamping sites like Dimpsey Shepherd's Hut or the Somerset Levels park.

The walk itself is straightforward - gentle paths wind through mature woodland, and you don't need to be particularly fit to enjoy it.
