It's ideal for families after a gentle walk that won't turn into a moorland endurance test, and birdwatchers will find their people here. The park doesn't demand hours of your time - forty minutes to an hour covers the main routes - which makes it a solid half-day option rather than a destination in itself. It's five minutes from Huntingdon town centre and works brilliantly as a leg-stretch stop if you're camping at Huntingdon Boathaven just half a mile away, or basing yourself at Wyton Lakes or Grafham Water further out. Free access and zero faffing about with ticket machines. The ground can be boggy in winter - proper squelchy - so stick to drier months unless you enjoy that sort of thing. Real value for a quick nature hit between the caravan park and wherever else you're headed.
