About All Saints
This is really a spot for anyone with a church interest rather than a reason in itself to drive out. The interior has decent stained glass and the usual Victorian fixtures you'd expect. It's the kind of place that tells you something about how prosperous Porthcawl was when the resort was booming. Local history types will get more out of it than casual visitors.
If you're staying at Trecco Bay Holiday Park just down the road - and it's barely over a mile away - it's worth combining with a wander around Porthcawl's promenade and beach. The town itself has more pull than the church alone, truth be told. Sand, arcades, fish and chips, the usual seaside setup. The church fits nicely into an afternoon if you're already in the area, not something to plan a trip around. Worth twenty minutes if you're a church crawler; skip it otherwise. Admission appears to be free, as with most churches, though opening hours aren't widely publicised so check locally before you go out of your way.
