Addington Park

The chalk grassland at Addington Park feels like stepping into a different Surrey altogether. The reserve sits just outside Warlingham, and it's managed by local conservation groups who've done proper work restoring what was once scrubby neglected land.

It's free to roam, and there's no visitor centre or facilities to speak of, which keeps it refreshingly low-key.
